The Nike Dunk Low TD “University Blue” is the toddler-sized version of the former performance basketball shoe in a colorway that nods to the North Carolina Tar Heels team uniform colors. The “University Blue” Dunk, a full family sizing release from June 2021, has no official ties to the Tar Heels, yet it honors Michael Jordan’s alma mater with its two-tone, white-and-blue color scheme. The shoe also looks to the two-tone appearance of the Dunk’s original “Be True to Your School” pack of 1985, a collection of college basketball-inspired colorways. The perforated toe, mid-panel, collar, and heel display white leather. Contrasting University Blue leather is found on the leather overlays and leather Swoosh. Additional University Blue accenting appears on the “Nike” and Swoosh branding on the tongue tag and on the rubber outsole beneath the white midsole. Release date: June 24, 2021
